The regulation introduces specific <strong>due diligence<\/strong> obligations, traceability and risk management throughout the supply chain, with the aim of ensuring that the raw materials and products concerned are <strong>deforestation-free<\/strong>, compliant with the legislation of the country of origin and supported by verifiable information.<\/p>\n<h2>EUDR: which companies are affected and what obligations does it entail<\/h2>\n<p>The EUDR applies to the cocoa, coffee, timber, rubber, palm oil, soya and livestock supply chains. The companies involved must implement processes for data collection, supply chain traceability, risk assessment and the preparation of the due diligence statements required by the Regulation. The extent of the obligations varies depending on the company\u2019s role in the value chain.<\/p>\n<h2>EUDR deadlines<\/h2>\n<p>The obligations under the EUDR will come into force on <strong>30 December 2026<\/strong> for large and medium-sized enterprises and on <strong>30 June 2027<\/strong> for small and micro enterprises.<\/p>\n<h2>EUDR consultancy: how Andersen supports companies<\/h2>\n<p>Andersen supports businesses in their EUDR compliance journeys through regulatory assessments, supply chain mapping, traceability process analysis and the design of due diligence systems.
