Andersen assists Arcadia SGR in structuring the financing for the acquisition of an equity stake in E-Mac Srl
Andersen, the firm of chartered accountants, lawyers, and financial advisors, and the Italian member of Andersen Global, assisted Arcadia SGR, an independent management company active in the Italian private equity market, as financial advisor for the structuring of a syndicated loan aimed at acquiring an equity stake in E-Mac Srl (assisted by PwC), a leading group in services for the construction sector.
The transaction marks the acquisition by Arcadia Sustainable Capital III, a fund managed by Arcadia SGR, of a minority stake in the share capital of the E-Mac Group, a market leader in the rental and sale of equipment for the building and construction sector.
Andersen supported Arcadia through its Debt Advisory team — Paola Pellegrini, Andrea Davide D’Avanzo, and Sandro Ravera Chion — in structuring a syndicated financing transaction involving three banking institutions.
The financing was completed for the acquisition and will support the implementation of E-Mac Group’s strategic development plan.
Arcadia’s investment aims to foster the group’s growth by strengthening its managerial structure and operational tools, with the goal of expanding into new areas in Northern Italy. Furthermore, the transaction represents Arcadia’s first investment within the “Climate Action and Environmental Sustainability” strategies promoted by the European Investment Fund, which supports circular economy models and advanced ESG practices.
