Andersen with MTA in the acquisition of a majority stake in EFI Technology

Andersen Italy assisted MTA, an Italian multinational with family roots and a leader in electrical and electronic solutions for the automotive industry, in the acquisition of 60% of EFI Technology, an Italian company specialising in the production of engine control units for both combustion and electric vehicles. The transaction is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.

The activities of Andersen Italy’s professionals were coordinated by partner Letizia Carrara, supported by Cristian Zanellato and Marianna Casale for tax due diligence and domestic tax matters. Partner Martina Borlandelli, with the support of Edoardo Balocco, handled transfer pricing and international tax aspects. Labour law and payroll matters were overseen by partner Francesca Capoferri, who managed the human resources aspects related to the acquisition.
