Extension until July 31, 2020, of the measures adopted by the Prime Ministerial Decree of June 11, 2020

Considering the current situation, in which the spread of the virus by Covid-19 is limited but not completely eradicated, the Government decided to issue a new Prime Ministerial Decree on 14 July, 2020 to extend until 31 July, 2020, with certain amendments, the measures set out in the Prime Ministerial Decree of 11 June 2020 and its annexes.

The Government has decided to update some of the annexes to the Prime Ministerial Decree of 11 June, especially Annex No. 9 containing “Guidelines for the reopening of Economic, Productive and Recreational Activities“. The new Prime Ministerial Decree of 14 July introduced some minor changes to the measures to be adopted in various work activities (Annex No.1 of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 14 July).

The Lombardy Region, in compliance with the provisions of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 14 July, issued a new regional Ordinance (“Ordinance Lombardy Region No. 580”) which removed the obligation to wear a mask in open-air places where interpersonal distance greater than one meter is guaranteed. It also introduced specific measures, reaffirming, with some minor differences, the provisions of Annex No.1 of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 14 July, on the guidelines to be followed in economic, productive, and recreational activities.
