Further postponement for communication of invoice data and cross-border communication
On February 27th the Ministry of Economy and Finance has informed that the following fiscal deadlines have been postponed:
- communication of data of invoices issued and received (so called “spesometro”) for the second semester of 2018, which is due on 30 April 2019 ;
- cross border data communication (so called “esterometro”), concerning the sale of goods and services to and from foreign business recorded for January and February, which is due on 30 April 2019;
- cross border data communication (so called “esterometro”), concerning the sale of goods and services to and from foreign business recorded for March and April, which is due on 31 May 2019.
Furthermore, the communication of periodic VAT liquidation for the fourth quarter of 2018 will have to be submitted to the tax authority within April 10, and not within February 28th.
VAT payments for those who sell electronic devices such as tablets, PCs, consoles or mobile phones have been postponed on May 16, with an increase of 0.4% related to interest for late payments.
