Ciro Eligiato

Ciro has been dealing with expatriate issues since 2014 and joined Andersen Italy in December 2024.

He specializes in international personal income tax and social security matters for employees and individuals involved in cross-border mobility projects (inbound – outbound), particularly those transferring their tax residency between countries.
Throughout his career, Ciro has gained solid experience in the reorganization of Global Mobility structures within multinational companies.

He is also highly skilled in analyzing the tax and social security implications of executive compensation packages, including equity-based and performance-related incentives, as well as tax planning and payroll matters.

He regularly speaks at conferences and seminars on Italian special tax regimes for individuals moving to Italy.

Ciro has also developed considerable expertise in assisting private clients, high-net-worth individuals, and professional athletes. In this context, he has worked alongside some of the world’s most renowned champions, advising on the tax implications of Italy’s special regimes for athletes, with a focus on employment income and image rights.
