Stefano Rossi

Stefano is a tax partner at Andersen in Italy and leads the Firm’s transfer pricing practice in the European Region. Stefano has over 15 years of experience in transfer pricing compliance and consulting (including coordination of multi-country TP documentation assignments) as well as international tax matters (profit allocation to PEs; tax risk management).

He has extensive experience serving clients in major industry sectors, including manufacturing, financial services, agribusiness, apparel, retail consumer products, pharmaceuticals/ healthcare and ITC, assisting them in preparing, submitting, negotiating and reporting on alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as:

• the EU Arbitration Convention, the MAP based on DTA as well as the newly enforced EU Directive nr.2017/1852;
• Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs). He has successfully negotiated Patent Box rulings with the Italian Tax Authority on the economic contribution to the value creation of trademarks, patents, designs, software and know-how.

He regularly joins conferences and webinars as speaker on international tax and transfer pricing related opportunities and challenges. Stefano has been recognized as a Rising Star in Tax by Euromoney(Expert Guide) in June 2020, and as a Highly Regarded Practitioner by World Transfer Pricing and World Tax since 2021.
