VD 2018: Andersen at the SUPSI conference, January 11
On January 11, 2018 the tax expert Maurizio Di Salvo, lawyer and chartered accountant of Andersen, will be one of the professionals in the tax and criminal tax sector who will report on The surfacing of foreign activities not declared in Italy: version 2018.
The conference will be held in Switzerland, in Manno (14.00-17.30) at SUPSI, the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland, one of the nine universities of applied sciences recognized by the Swiss Confederation.
With the Tax Decree related to the 2018 Stability Law, approved by law 172 of 6 December 2017, a “mini tax shield” was introduced for those who worked abroad by moving their residency and former frontier workers. These subjects will be able to legitimize the assets and sums held on December 6, 2017, in violation of the tax monitoring obligations, deposited in current accounts and savings books abroad, deriving from income from dependent or independent work produced abroad and/or from the sale of properties located abroad, by paying a sum of 3% of the value of the aforementioned assets as of December 31st, 2016. Central, however, appears the concept of tax residence in Italy, for a possible extension of the initiative in an amnesty.
