In recent years, the European Union has introduced several regulations aimed at standardizing dismissal statutes in European countries. Nevertheless, each country still follows different guidelines.
Therefore, the “Dismissal Guide” aims to provide a clear overview of the different regulations in the 21 countries covered.

EMPLOYMENT WEBINAR | Covid-related restrictions for employment termination across Europe
Due to the global spread of Covid-19, there is some specific legislation in some jurisdictions restricting the employer’s right to terminate individual employees or restrict mass layoffs.
In the absence of uniform rules, employers who employ workers in different European countries live with the constant risk of violating country-specific regulations.
